I love how , even in its tightly coiled state , this peony bud mite at the ebullience and crazy , unorganized extravagance that ’s to come . No symmetrical , mathematical order to this flower . At least not obviously . These photos were both take in June a few years ago , after a light shower , in local common / public garden near theFGoffices in Newtown , Connecticut .
