Today ’s photos are from Linda Skyler . She says,“I at last grabbed my photographic camera and went out to tear a few pictures – after you kept remind everyone to get busy photographing ! I live on Bainbridge Island , a 1/2 - hour ferry ride from Seattle . It is truly a groovy plaza to garden and is a mecca for nurseryman .
“ We have live on our 1/3 acre for almost 40 year and I have been garden here for most 30 , and gravely gardening ( which includes constantly digging up MORE grass ! ) for about 25 . After raising 4 boys on a lot that looked like we raised 4 boys , I start to landscape and have never stopped .
“ We do n’t have a lot of Lord’s Day on our property anymore due to the giant firs and the earth is very ancestor - bound in seat so I have learned to do a lot of tint gardening and really savour it . fern and hostas are my passion and I love them throughout the shady areas . A lot of the blooming plants have cease now and the grass has dried up but there is still some colour and I have grand green construction throughout the gardens that continues all class long . Enjoy ! ”
