Nothing pronounce fall in the garden more than the sight of ornamental grasses plume . It go correctly along with all other things that signalize the season change — the kids going back to schooltime , Cucurbita pepo spice up everything , and turn the heat on for the first time . gardener seem to have a love / hate relationship with decorative grasses . They have great texture , they give life to the recent - time of year landscape painting , and many are aboriginal to North America . But some spread like noxious Mary Jane , become invading , or are maintenance nightmare that need frequent class . In this episode we discuss some of our favorites from this class of plants — grasses that are sensational in three seasons ( if not four ) and do n’t need a plethora of attention to look their best . We even talk about a few newbie grasses that you might not have heard of before !
