The Eden Project has received fresh investment for its work on a feasibleness work for a new attractiveness on the Sir Joseph Banks of the Avon River in Christchurch .
The NZ$152,500 inward investment grant hail from New Zealand Trade & Enterprise ( NZTE ) and will give towards the cost of the feasibleness workplace .
The study is being lead by Eden Project International , the global wing of the undertaking whose ambition is to make transformative projects on every inhabited continent .
Eden is working with Christchurch City Council , the Eden Project NZ Trust and other local organisations , garter and stakeholders to prepare the feasibility written report .
The survey is the next footmark in a process which begin more than four years ago when the Eden Project began work in Christchurch . It builds on the employment already finish on the labor in that metre and draws on Eden ’s experience developing projects around the human beings .

NZTE ’s General Manager of Investment , Dylan Lawrence , said the investment grant was to accelerate the feasibility study , which will mold the structural and economical feasibleness of the project .
He say : “ NZTE has a Strategic Investment Fund for just this purpose , to provide financial backing for committed investor who want to impart innovative , farsighted - term projects to fruition . The Eden Project would tot a major asset to Christchurch and New Zealand , and be an important part of the recovery of our tourism industriousness . "
