I have a go at it this layer planting on the edge of the woods atCornell Plantationsin Ithaca , New York . A small hosta ( perhaps ‘ Golden Tiara ’ ? ) along the front edge give way to a swath of abundantly bloom rodgersias next , and then come a row of large ferns before the wickedness beyond begins to take over . Beautiful , eh ? A declamatory mete does n’t have to be complicated . Sometimes just a few different plant do the trick , and quite nicely at that !
